As a Duaal student Accountant at EY, you will be part of the Accounting Compliance and Reporting department, our compilation practice. This role is the ideal start to your accountancy career due to the diverse program and intensive guidance.

The Challenge - What future are you building towards?

The Accounting Compliance and Reporting (ACR) unit is EY's compilation practice. ACR is a sub-service line within Assurance, where approximately 200 employees nationwide are actively involved in compiling financial statements, providing administrative support, dashboarding (online preparation of interim figures), handling various tax returns, and providing advice. Additionally, they participate in review and audit assignments. The teams are young, with an informal, positive, and enthusiastic work atmosphere.

Within the Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR) department, we are responsible for preparing financial statements and advising clients on financial issues. We collaborate with our colleagues from the audit department, who, for example, audit large companies, as well as with tax colleagues. Our department works for startups, scale-ups, non-profit organizations, and international enterprises.

What you will do: How can you make a lasting impact in a rapidly changing world?

• As a dual student, you will experience what it is like to work at EY by being involved in all the daily activities of the team. This allows you to develop as a young professional by gaining valuable and relevant practical experience.
• Each assignment is different, and you will work closely with other disciplines within EY, such as Tax and HVG notaries and lawyers, often collaborating in multidisciplinary teams.
• The work is carried out for startups, scale-ups (via our EYnovation program), not-for-profit organizations, and international enterprises. As you develop further, you will advise more clients on a broad financial field.
• You will have the opportunity to work on your school assignment or thesis. You choose the topic and receive guidance from experienced professionals.
• You will maximize your potential with the help of your personal buddy, who regularly provides you with feedback.

What we are looking for: Where do you start if you want to change the world?

• You are pursuing an HBO degree in Accountancy and will start this study in a dual form from September 2025.
• You have excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, also in English.

• Salary: In addition to your fixed salary, you may be eligible for a bonus depending on EY's financial performance. You are also entitled to an expense allowance (function dependent) and an internet allowance of €40 net per month.
• Days off: You are entitled to 25 vacation days per year for a full-time position and the option to purchase additional days.
• Sabbatical: In consultation, you have the option to take unpaid leave.
• Parental leave: EY pays 100% of the parental leave, and for additional parental leave, EY pays 70% of the salary.
