INTRODUCTION
Taste, Texture, and Health (TTH) Ingredient Solutions at dsm-firmenich focuses on creating innovative ingredients that enhance the sensory experience, nutritional value, and overall quality of food and beverage products, with the aim to provide comprehensive solutions that meet consumer demands for tasty, nutritious, and high-quality food and beverages. The Director Global Supply Chain Enzymes plays an instrumental role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of Ingredient Solutions supply chain operations. This leadership position is crucial for optimizing logistics, managing inventory, and streamlining processes to deliver high-quality ingredients that meet consumer demands and drive business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supply Chain Oversight: be accountable for the entire supply chain for enzymes product line, ensuring customer-focused operations.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of planners and schedulers to allocate resources effectively, meeting demand and inventory goals.
  • Business Planning: Lead the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, facilitate Supply Review Meetings, and prepare inputs for financial and demand-supply reviews.
  • Customer Service: Define and implement service levels for businesses, contributing to budget and strategy plans.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and track KPIs, analyze performance, identify issues, and drive improvements.
  • Improvement Projects: Lead or participate in projects to achieve cost, service, and cash objectives.
  • Complaint Management: Handle customer complaints in line with annual targets.
  • Representation: Represent Supply Chain in leadership teams, business reviews, and key meetings.

YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Management.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic supply chain roles within large international companies, preferably in biotechnologies or life science sectors.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management, including Integrated Business Planning (IBP), production planning, and inventory management.
  • Proven team leading experience in complex matrix environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and data analysis tools.
  • Fluency in English and in French (preferred).
