Your job

At ABN AMRO, our Finance & Risk Data Sourcing team within the Data Domain plays a critical role in unifying the voice of our Finance and Risk stakeholders. As a Business Consultant, you will leverage your expertise in financial products and their representation within our banking systems. We seek an experienced analyst who can navigate the complexities of financial product reporting and effectively collaborate with diverse entities across the bank.

In this dynamic role, your proactive approach will be key as you investigate requirements and support the development of functional mappings to address any existing data gaps. You will work with various data models, ensuring they are effectively linked for seamless data sourcing. Acting as the crucial link between data users and data owners, you will ensure that specific data needs are met accurately and efficiently.

Moreover, you will be integral to transitioning our current sourcing methodologies to align with the Federated Data Governance Model. This involves onboarding prioritized integrated datasets into our Finance and Risk Data Domain. Working environment

We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring data management to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable finance and risk data on time. We do this by improving the risk data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model. Our Data Department Finance & Risk consists of 5 teams where the atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal.

You are part of the Finance & Risk Data Domain and will work in one of the teams of F&R Data Sourcing. You will report to the Expert Lead/Product Owner Entity Data Product & Data Distribution.

Your profile

You have an interest and experience in delivery of (parts of) Data Platforms within Finance. You are a passionate, hard-working professional with an eye for details. You are able to execute assignments independently as well as interact directly with stakeholders when it comes to day-to-day matters.

Do you think you fit in with us? Check your profile:

• You’ve successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (WO/Msc.)
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience in a data domain, preferably in a Finance Reporting or Risk Management environment.
• You have in-depth exposure to the various banking products and can participate in data modelling activities combining this knowledge to the current and future sourcing models as they evolve
• You have knowledge of Data Management, including sourcing, transformation and preferably data lineage
• You are a strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• PowerBI and SQL skills will be an added plus.

• The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
