You are at the forefront of contributing to Rabobank’s strategy by identifying opportunities for capital relief and secured funding. You will be able to use your brainpower and creativity to support Rabobank’s strategic agenda, connect with investors and investment banks, and manage the execution of transactions from idea generation to deal structuring and ultimately final closing. Practical Examples

• You will work in one of the most dynamic departments of the bank
• You formulate and execute the bank’s portfolio distribution strategy;
• You maintain an internal and external network with (capital) markets participants;
• You will identify new opportunities for transactions to improve Rabobank’s capital ratios, liquidity position and/or balance sheet, and assess the economic feasibility of complex and high-profile asset-backed transactions.

With you as an Associate or Associate Director Portfolio Distribution, the overall Corporate Development department consists of around 60 dedicated colleagues. The Corporate Development department is part of the CFO domain and its goal is to formulate the bank’s strategy, create room for future growth by optimizing Rabobank's balance sheet, executing M&A and asset portfolio transactions in all regions and offering fund management solutions for institutional investors.

You will join the Portfolio Distribution team that is responsible for idea generation and executing transactions on Rabobank’s assets portfolio. Examples of transactions that we are involved in include (synthetic) securitisations, covered bonds, and whole loan portfolio sales. We work closely together with other Rabobank departments such as Debt Capital Markets, Treasury, Legal, Risk, and Control.

You and your talent

If you are interested, it is important that you recognize the following below:

• Relevant Master’s degree and outstanding academic results;
• Minimum of 3-5 years relevant working experience in securitisation or structured finance;
• Excellent analytical, modelling, and valuation skills;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English;
• Influencing and distinctive communication and presentation skills;
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills. To be considered for this position, you must be located in the Netherlands or elsewhere in the EU (including UK) and have the legal right to work in the Netherlands. We are unable to consider candidates requiring relocation from another country.
