Regulatory Data Specialist

Are you ready to explore a dynamic role at the crossroads of chemistry and regulatory affairs? As a Regulatory Data Specialist, you will play a key part in ensuring compliance with global, regional, and local regulations while contributing to the success of our business. Based in Waalwijk, the Netherlands, you’ll work in an international environment alongside a dedicated team of professionals.

What will you do?

  • Ensure product compliance by providing both regional and global regulatory expertise.
  • Prepare safety data sheets using the SAP EHS Product Safety module.
  • Validate and maintain the integrity of information received from suppliers and shared with customers.
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory developments and trends, assess their impact, and communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by addressing regulatory inquiries from customers and internal teams.
  • Evaluate the product portfolio against global regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to close chemical data gaps when necessary.
  • Advise R&D and business teams on regulatory aspects of new products, R&D projects, and market launches.
  • Support customers by managing regulatory requests and completing questionnaires.

At Stahl, you’ll join our Global Product Stewardship team, currently consisting of 15 professionals worldwide. In the team in Waalwijk, you work together with two direct colleagues. Who are you?
You are a person with a proactive mindset, always taking initiative in your work. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and articulate regulatory information clearly. You think critically, contribute innovative ideas, and consistently identify opportunities for improvement. Next to that:

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study (e.g., chemistry, environmental science) or equivalent
  • Experience supporting product stewardship and regulatory or supply chain is a plus. Are you a junior candidate with no concrete work experience in this field yet? We still warmly invite you to apply.
  • Good communicating skills in English (verbal and in writing)

What do we offer?

  • Salary from €4.014 to €4.988 based on 40 hours per week excluding 8% holiday pay
  • A 13th month (8.33%)
  • You start with a one-year contract and if the collaboration is successful, there will be an extension for an indefinite period
  • This concerns a 24 – 40 hours p/w position in Waalwijk
  • Travel costs: €0.23 per km for a maximum of 50 km one way when traveling to the work address.
  • Good pension scheme (employer contribution = average 19%, employee contribution up to an annual salary of € 51,800 (2025) premium-free, above that 7% employee premium
  • Possibility to work from home and working from home allowance of €2 net/day
