At Rentman, we work in English as the common language and we have a very flat hierarchy. We are currently growing so we are looking for a Full-stack Developer - Internal Tooling.

Mission Of This Role:

The mission of our Full-stack Developer - Internal Tooling is to help build and improve our internal tooling and data platform. You will be the one responsible for our internal IT applications (e.g., customer management application, financial applications).

This position is not just about building and extending products to serve our internal teams. The data and tooling team is a new team within Rentman, founded late 2024. You will work closely with Arthur, our Data Engineer and a Data Analyst to shape this team and the role you have.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain and extend Rentman’s toolchain, including tools for customer and invoice management, data synchronization, data warehouse
• Make build-or-buy decisions for new tooling and oversee their implementation
• Collaborate closely with the development team and engage with stakeholders across departments to align priorities and deliver effective solutions
• Contribute to the overall infrastructure by designing and improving integrations within the ecosystem
• Take ownership of technical features, guiding their development, resolving blockers, and ensuring alignment with timelines and quality standards
• Stay informed about emerging AI trends and integrate them into data and tooling decisions

What We’re Looking For:

• Proficiency in PHP (tooling) and Python (data analysis)
• Advanced SQL knowledge and competence in writing complex queries
• Front-end development experience
• Infra experience - AWS or GCP
• Affinity for problem solving and taking a pragmatic approach
• Experience working in a B2B SaaS environment
• Excellent English proficiency, written and spoken

Bonus Points For:

• Awareness of and interest in AI/ML applications
• Experience in the event/media production industry is a big plus
• Experience in a SPA framework like Angular or React
