Your opportunity:

We are looking for a new team member to step into this role as our current colleague is moving on to their next career opportunity. Acts as a strategic communications partner for IMCD’s Business Groups, ensuring alignment of marketing communications and branding with IMCD’s global vision, strategy and identity.

Your primary duties & responsibilities:

• Partner with Business Groups to ensure alignment of marketing strategies and activities with IMCD’s mission, vision, strategy, and brand identity and positioning.
• Steer global and local trade media activities, ensuring consistent messaging and impactful coverage.
• Monitor and provide guidance on online content for Business Groups at both global and local levels, including approval of intranet content to ensure consistency and alignment.

Who we are looking for:

• Expertise in branding, marketing communications, and trade media.
• Strong collaboration and advisory skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders.
• Knowledge of global and local market dynamics, ensuring effective positioning and communication strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and brand consistency.
• Proficiency in digital communication tools and content management systems.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple initiatives.
• A degree in Communications, Marketing, Branding, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within an international corporate environment.
• In possession of a Dutch or EU work permit
