Digital Communications Manager

Purpose

We are looking for a temporarily team member to step into this role for approx. 8 months, to manage IMCD’s digital communication platforms and support digital strategies for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with IMCD’s brand, mission, and vision.

Your key responsibilities:

• Oversee corporate digital communication platforms, including the IMCD Group website (headless CMS), social media channels, and intranet, ensuring consistency, functionality, and effectiveness.
• Work closely with IT and Digital teams to implement platform updates, best practices, and improvements for an enhanced user experience.
• Supervise and mentor the Junior Communications Specialist (Social Media), guiding content strategy, engagement, and overall digital presence.

Your key competencies and skills:

• A degree in Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in digital communications, preferably in an international corporate environment.
• Extensive experience working with headless CMS platforms, including content creation, updates, and platform management.
• Strong project management skills, with experience using Jira to oversee project development timelines and deliverables.
• Expertise in digital content strategy, platform management, and user experience design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain brand consistency and drive audience engagement across multiple digital platforms.
• Experience managing social media strategies, website content, and digital campaigns across multiple markets.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT, Digital, and Marketing.
• In possession of a Dutch or EU work permit
