Job Purpose
You will play a critical role capturing insights, developing strategy, creating value adding initiatives and leading the development of products and services required to win in high value our Yacht coatings segment. As a market driven by high quality and brand aspiration, your role will include guiding the positioning of our brands and promotional activities aligned with sales to meet financial, sustainability and brand equity goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Implement strategic go-to-market models, translating customer and market demands into strategy and value adding initiatives.
• Build a thorough understanding of customer needs to create and implement needs-based market segmentation.
• Oversee deployment of strategic marketing activities hand in hand with sales and R&D leadership.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop customer, competitor and market insights to aid the development of winning value propositions & concepts.
• Oversee an experienced team of marketeers to strengthen the impact and execution of marketing and product marketing deliverables.
• Monitor performance & adjust planning to maximise effectiveness.

Job Requirements

• Ideally a graduate in a scientific or marketing discipline with experience in more than one area of sales & marketing.
• Extensive experience working in commercial environment and an understanding of the coatings sector.
• Experience in effective marketing strategy creation via segment planning frameworks, working with customers and sales to create and execute plans.
• Understanding of product management with proficiency in working with R&D and product marketing principles to deliver an innovation pipeline.
• Exposure and experience in brand and communications, showing aptitude to effectively co-create requirements and execution plans for segment with Brand and Marketing Communications teams. B2B and B2C environments, including retail and or trade marketing experience.
