Overview

The Business Analytics Partner Savoury Netherlands is part of the Analytics & Insights team reporting into the Business Analytics Lead NE. The overall objective of the Analytics & Insights team is to incite insights-based decisions to drive sustainable topline and market share growth by bringing the outside in, connecting the dots, looking forward, consulting and activating.

To achieve the team’s objective, the Business Analytics Partner Savoury NL is responsible for category (incl. brand) and channel/retailer performance analysis, understanding of consumer and shopper behavior and most importantly: bringing actionable insights across to key business stakeholders within Sales, Marketing, DX (Demand Accelerator) & RGM through strong communication and data visualization skills. He/she will act as an instrumental business partner and coordinate the translation of generated insights into growth opportunities through actively wiring into key meeting fora.

The main brands that are in scope for the category of Savoury are Lay’s, Doritos, Cheetos, Duyvis and Popworks with lead focus on NL market. Support from GBS (Global Business Service) available on ad-hoc basis.

Responsibilities

  • Be an indispensable business partner on the commercial side of the organization
  • Deep-dive in sales performance and shopper behavior to unlock future growth opportunities
  • Own insights deliverables and periodic performance reporting
  • Assess and simplify/automate current insights deliverables via new processes and tools
  • Play key role in business planning by putting plans in external market context
  • Work together with data and research agencies to ensure delivery of data/insight in an accurate and timely manner
  • Manage Nielsen related inquiries (database, ad hoc report requests, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely and act as business partner to cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, Revenue Management, Sales, Category Management), ensuring insights are at the foundation of all PepsiCo plans.
  • Collaborate with peers from other insights departments and Sector Insights.
  • Coordinate work of GBS-based analysts: data collection & initial analysis, standardized reporting, presentation input preparation

Qualifications

  • Relevant Master’s degree (e.g. Economics, Business, Marketing)
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience (preferably in analytics)
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing) and Dutch (preferably)
  • Strong analytical skills: identifies connections in data and trends and generates insights
  • Translates insights into customer/internal messages and solutions/action
  • Strong interpersonal skills in all communication: recognizes the role of different stakeholders and tailors communication, messages and style accordingly to build engagement at all levels of the organization
  • Flexible and responsive attitude: prepared to discover new solutions for new challenges as they arise and remains tenacious in achieving the required result

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Super-user of continuous data, including all agency software (NielsenIQ is a must)
