Your Role

As a Crew Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the planning and coordination of all activities required to man the vessels with compliant and skilled personnel. This includes but is not limited to visa and transport (plane flights, helicopter flights, taxis...) from and to the ships. You will join one of the four vessel teams in our Crew Operations Department.

• Ensure a proper personnel planning within the framework planning, received from the Crew Planner
• Organize all necessary travel-related arrangements for personnel, including plane flights and visa
• Check if the planned personnel is compliant and able to embark, in close collaboration with the Learning & Development Crew department
• Inform the individual crew members on their travel schedules and appointed Vessel / Project
• Update the Crew Management System with relevant data
• Support the Vessel planner in ensuring all tasks are performed in due time
• Prepare personnel planning related topics for coming projects in cooperation with the Vessel Asset Team, Project Team, and the Procurement Subcontracting Department
• Act as a member of the emergency phone team for urgent crew-related issues outside office hours

What We Expect From You

• Preferably, you hold an HBO degree in Personnel Management or equivalent (or you have a comparable level by experience)
• Experience in a similar job is desirable, preferably in an offshore environment or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved
• Most importantly, you have excellent planning and organizational skills
• You can handle a significant amount of stress and are able to find ad-hoc solutions for last-minute changes
• You are diplomatic as well as assertive in your communication, even when the stress is high
• You are able to set priorities in a hectic and fast-paced environment
• You are reliable, team-oriented, and helpful, but you also dare to ask for help yourself when needed
• You have a very good command of the English language, both written and spoken
• You are willing to travel to the vessels from time to time
• You can work outside of the regular office hours when needed
