As an Analytics & Insights Intern at Armada Music, you’ll work closely with our Analytics & Insights team to support data-driven decision-making across the company. You’ll assist in tracking streaming trends, evaluating artist performance, and optimizing internal reporting tools. This internship is ideal for someone with strong data and analytical skills, a passion for music, and a desire to gain hands-on experience in the music business.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with large datasets from streaming platforms and internal sources to analyse label, artist and track performance;

  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract insights and automate reporting processes;

  • Help track and analyse KPIs related to streaming, playlisting, and audience growth;

  • Support predictive analysis to identify growth opportunities and trends in digital music consumption;

Present findings through clear, insightful reports and visualizations for A&R, Marketing, Digital and Catalog teams.

Who You Are

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field;

  • Proficient in Excel and SQL with experience in querying large datasets;

  • Comfortable with data visualization and storytelling using charts and dashboards;

  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills;

  • Passion for data-driven decision-making in the music industry;

  • You live in (or within reasonable travel time to) Amsterdam;

  • You are available as of February 2025 (length of internship is negotiable) and are enrolled in a Dutch university for the whole internship duration.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation;

  • Understanding of music industry data sources (Spotify for Artists, Chartmetric, or similar);

  • Familiarity with API integrations for data extraction.
