About this role

To address rapid market changes and the growing appetite for commercial expansion, JET Fintech Pillar was launched in late 2023. The aim of Partner & Courier Payments (where this role sits) is to integrate and enhance JET’s financial and payment services, delivering value across our marketplace through globalised tools for pricing, revenue calculation, invoicing, and payouts, all while ensuring compliance with market regulations.

As we expand into other areas of convenience delivery, competitive market dynamics and growing scrutiny over pricing transparency require a delicate balance between offering convenience and ensuring profitable growth. Achieving our Fintech mission relies on our ability to innovate fee structures and pricing capabilities without jeopardising our customers' experience or devouring our partners' (already slim) profit margins.

As Senior Product Manager for Fintech Pricing Enablement, you will drive the development of centralised pricing tools and an experimentation framework to optimise and test scalable pricing strategies. Your work will play a critical role in balancing convenience, profitability, and pricing transparency while managing PSP accounting and reconciliation to ensure compliance with PCI and PSD2 standards.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

  • Establish, communicate, and drive forward a clear and inspiring mission, strategy and practical roadmap for your team's value stream, aligned with the domain's and broader organisation's globalisation plans.
  • Collaborate with our central pricing and country teams to identify pain points, needs and opportunities to optimise our consumer-facing fees and pricing approach.
  • Manage the continuous product discovery process to identify, assess and prioritise the right opportunities that contribute to your well-defined OKRs.
  • Work with a cross-functional team of incredibly talented engineering, design, product and analytics individuals to develop and implement tools to provide competitive and consistent pricing strategies.
  • Ensure continuous product delivery while closely monitoring all the relevant metrics to validate that changes lead to the expected outcome.
  • Coach and support fellow product managers within your domain and beyond, sharing best practices and experiences and contributing to their development as Product professionals.

What will you bring to the table?

  • Significant experience in modern product management, preferably in data-driven products. Experience in pricing services, tooling, recommender systems, or algorithmically heavy domains is a big plus.
  • You're curious, practical, and outcome-focused, with a strong sense of ownership and expertise in working with cross-functional teams, including designers, data experts, and engineers.
  • You’re a skilled communicator with a track record of influencing others to support your strategy or proposals. You have sharp business judgment, are strong in logical and analytical thinking, and can easily separate signals from noise.
  • You are a team player and motivator. You respond well to change, think laterally, and see change as an opportunity, not an obstacle.
  • You work hard while identifying where "good enough" is the best outcome and understand financial processes and regulatory aspects.
