The Role

We’re looking for a Product Owner to lead the Cloud part of iwell’s solutions, including our Customer Portals, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Portals, and APIs. At iwell, we want to grow into a leading player in the European energy market. To do this, our software needs to scale to handle growth, reliability, and international expansion. In this role, you’ll create and drive the product vision for our cloud platforms, making sure they fit iwell’s plans. You’ll work with other Product Owners (Data and Energy Management System), stakeholders, and development teams to build software that supports smart battery systems and helps iwell succeed internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Roadmap development: Plan and maintain a clear product roadmap that supports growth, international needs, and delivers value to the business.

• Backlog management: Manage the product backlog, making sure user stories are clear, actionable, and guided by feedback from user testing.

• Stakeholder engagement & user feedback: Work with stakeholders to gather input, improve usability, and align the product with market expectations.

• Internationalization: Ensure the product supports multiple languages, regions, and meets compliance requirements for the European market.

Requirements

• Experience as a Product Owner, ideally working on cloud platforms, portals, or APIs.

• The ability to plan and align the product vision and roadmap with company goals.

• Experience working with Agile practices, focusing on improving the product step by step and preparing for growth.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills to connect with technical teams and business stakeholders.

• Living in the Netherlands and eligible to work here.

• Bonus: Experience with IoT, energy systems, or scaling software for new markets is a plus.
