This is how you make impact as a Senior HR Advisor

In this versatile role, you serve as the link between our long-term HR vision and its practical execution. Together with a dynamic and driven HR team of five colleagues, you will work daily on diverse HR activities. You’ll translate business strategy into practical, tangible plans, which you will implement alongside your HR colleagues and managers. You report directly to the HR Manager for NCWS/NT.

As a trusted advisor, you will provide full-spectrum support to the management and team leads of Neways subsidiaries. Your main office will be in Echt, with one to two days per week working on location in Son. Your daily tasks span a wide range of HR activities, from recruitment and selection to absence management, job evaluation, and succession planning. Additionally, you will participate in HR projects with Corporate HR and colleagues from other Neways subsidiaries, in areas such as job infrastructure and employer branding. Your role also involves supporting employees and managers, acting as a reliable point of contact for HR-related questions.

This is what you bring to the team

  • A proactive, trustworthy, and independent Senior HR Advisor with at least 8 years of experience in a commercial environment, preferably in an international manufacturing setting.
  • A flexible communication style and a structured approach to providing managers with valuable feedback, both solicited and unsolicited.
  • A passion for elevating the HR function alongside your colleagues by proposing initiatives, contributing to projects, and independently implementing new processes and projects within the organization.
  • Sensitivity to organizational needs and the importance of stakeholder alignment, ensuring deadlines are met.

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s level education or equivalent in HR, Business Administration, or Psychology.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and fluency in both Dutch and English.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Willingness to work from our Echt location and travel to other sites as needed.

This is what we offer

At Neways, you’ll work in a warm and informal environment where personal contact and professional growth are priorities. We value your development and encourage your initiatives and ideas.

Additionally, we offer:

  • A competitive salary aligned with your knowledge and experience.
  • An attractive package of secondary benefits, including 27 vacation days, 13 extra days off, and a solid pension plan.
  • Flexible working hours with the option to work from home.
  • Travel expense reimbursement.
  • Extensive opportunities for professional growth, such as internal training and courses.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Advising and supporting management on themes like sustainable employability, team development, and employee engagement.
  • Developing plans for absence management, training, and team development.
  • Optimizing and executing HR processes, such as performance management and onboarding.
  • Managing recruitment and selection processes in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Ensuring accurate and efficient HR administration in collaboration with HR officers, using tools like AFAS and Primetime, and providing reports via Power BI while contributing to the further automation of HR processes.
