Job Description

In this role you have the opportunity to be part of the Product Research Center, supporting the team to craft engaging assets and content across multiple touch points for our personal care products.

As Strategic Content Writer you are responsible for:

  • Supporting multiple projects and strategic initiatives of one or more categories
  • Implementing content strategies that align with business goals and user needs
  • Supporting consumer and competitor research to identify user needs and design opportunities
  • Supporting the creation of shopper/consumer/user decision journey content: digital as well as print. Considering packaging, labeling and business requirements on brand and design level (using and optimizing existing toolkits and frameworks)
  • Executing operational tasks related to your own category for the new and updated propositions
  • Advise and convince stakeholders in creating the most optimal solution(s) for content and consumer care elements on all touchpoints

You are part of:

A team focusing on user care (consumer care) as well as creating content to support the consumer throughout the consumer journey. The team consists of user researchers with experience in the domain of in-market products (full portfolio), copy writers, technical writers and team members involved in claims substantiation. Within the team we have experts in localizing, labelling, regulatory/legal requirements and apps. We work together with outsourced suppliers such as illustrators.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a consumer-first attitude and the following:

  • A strong drive to put the consumer/user first.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree consumer-oriented education, like Service Design, Interaction Design, Customer Experience, Sociology, Psychology, Communication, Marketing or a relevant technical background.
  • You preferably already have experience (3-5 years) managing consumer care communication tools of relevant high volume consumer products.
  • The ability to develop and implement content strategies that align with business goals and user needs. This includes understanding different content types, formats, and distribution channels.
  • Knowledge of UX principles to ensure that the content is user-friendly and meets the needs of different user groups. This includes creating user personas, journey maps, and wireframes
  • Understanding of digital marketing techniques and tools to effectively reach and engage target audiences through various touchpoints such as social media, email, and websites.
  • The ability to analyze and interpret data to inform content decisions. This includes using analytics tools to track content performance and user behavior.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners. This includes the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), HTML/CSS, and other relevant technologies to manage and publish content.
