Global IT Operations Jr. Workplace Consultant

We are now looking for a Jr. Workplace Consultant in our Global Network, System and Workplace Team within Global IT Operations department (60 FTE+).

The Jr. Workplace Consultant is primarily responsible for the user and workplace environment support at global level, within Office 365 Admin Centers: MS 365 Admin Centre, Exchange, Teams, Endpoint Manager, Azure Active Directory, Azure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Security, Compliance, etc. … and support License Management (assignments, usage, orders, etc.).

As a Jr. Workplace Consultant at PVM, you are expected to give operational support to keep our customers agile and productive. Our IT environment is changing fast, complex and on enterprise grade solution, so we are searching for someone with a strong personality, enthusiastic character and a solid IT knowledge.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Act as L2 Operational Support for Business Requests related to User and Workplace area, including AVD
• Coordinate support among several teams: L1/GSD, L3, external vendors
• Manage identities in Global Active Directory, MS 365 Admin Centre, Entra ID
• Support License assignment, inventory, and usage optimization
• Execute recurring tasks related to Workplace area to guarantee business continuity
• Proper manage Major, Top and Security incidents related to Workplace area
• Assess current environment and make continuous improvements towards Operational support
• Serve as the subject matter expert for Office 365, MS Teams, Exchange Online and all Office 365 Admin Centers in general
• Support transition of new technologies, settings, deployment from PVM IT Technology Solution to Operational area
• Maintain our standard operating system environment across Windows, macOS and AVD

Skills

• All MS Office 365 Admin Centers wide knowledge and experience:
  • Most important: MS Exchange, MS Teams, MS Identity, MS Compliance, MS Defender, etc.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune, Autopilot, Compliance Policies, Conditional Access, Configuration Profiles). Experience with app publishing in Intune, iOS and Android Store.
  • Knowledge of and experience with MS Windows / Active Directory / Azure Entra ID / Endpoint Management / Azure AVD / Hybrid on-premise and MS cloud environment / Autopilot environment
  • Knowledge of and experience with Security, Compliance and Identity management (Defender for Endpoints, M365 Information Protection (MIP) and Compliance Manager)
  • OS Image building and update, software Packaging and Deployment concepts
• Good scripting skills in multiple languages such as PowerShell, Batch.
• Deep MS Excel knowledge as a support tool.
• ITIL principles knowledge
• Efficient analytical, problem solving and technical skills
• Good communication skills with colleagues within the team, with other PVM Teams and Technical IT Specialists from external vendors.
• A positive, hands-on, customer-oriented and can-do attitude
• Ability to work in global cross-functional teams and in cooperation with other technical consultants

• Experience: 5+ years (technical experience)
• Education: Bachelor of Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology Start Date: as soon as possible
