JOB PURPOSE

As a Senior Digital Media Strategist at DEPT®, you will be the connecting link between our client's business objectives and our agency's comprehensive service portfolio. You will work closely with our Client Service team to create and implement strategic plans for well-known brands in our client portfolio and help them navigate through the ever-evolving digital landscape.

Through a loyalty and audience-first lens, you will advise our clients and the wider team on long-term digital marketing strategies specific to customer journeys, loyalty & value propositions and growth initiatives based on data, insights, and market trends. Together with our client services team, content/creative team, and wider strategy team you will present your team’s work and ideas eloquently in workshops, QBRs, or other formats to our clients and partners.

You will also help us win new clients by participating and/or leading in new business pitches; locally and globally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop end-to-end loyalty propositions and customer experience strategies to cultivate customer loyalty and long-term brand engagement
  • Analyze customer behavior, preferences, and lifetime value to identify target audience segments and frameworks
  • Understand and research market trends, products, services, and strategies to identify new growth opportunities
  • Critically analyse and interpret campaign and strategy effectiveness through metrics such as customer retention rate, repeat purchase rate, and ROI; along with optimising strategies based on data-driven insights
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, target audience, and industry landscape
  • Develop innovative and data-driven digital marketing strategies that align with client objectives
  • Work closely together with our specialists (like SEA, SEO, CRM, Data and Social Advertising Consultants)
  • Leverage a deep understanding of marketing, technology, and innovation to create comprehensive plans that drive measurable results
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal execution of campaigns and projects
  • Be the driving force of projects, starting and finishing them
  • Drive our internal knowledge and be on the forefront of creating new propositions and best practices
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices to ensure our strategies remain cutting-edge

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Fluency in Dutch and English is a must
  • A seasoned Digital Marketing Strategist, having gained extensive experience with loyalty propositions, programs & audience-centric strategies, preferably at an agency
  • Deep understanding of Digital Media Planning and Execution
  • Broader digital marketing knowledge (SEO, SEA, Social, CRM, Content Marketing, Data etc.)
  • Can help our clients to go from business strategy to marketing strategy and implement this by giving advice, creating roadmaps and propose concepts
  • A driver of innovation
  • A networker and because of this you are able to bring together our different disciplines and specialists
  • Can explain complex data and information in an easy and understandable manner to Internal & external stakeholders
  • Approach new tasks proactively and pragmatically
