DevOps Engineer Transaction Monitoring Detection

We are looking for DevOps Engineer with working experience of Azure Cloud Platforms to join Themis – an in-house Transaction Monitoring (TM) solution – to mitigate money laundering risks on a daily basis.

You are an engineer who values standards and has a proactive attitude towards automation. You will be a key member in our team to help develop, maintain and optimize our current pipelines, and ensure our solution is as safe, efficient and effective as possible.

You and your job

Preventing Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing is one of the fundamental aspects of our society and our organization, and as a bank, we play a crucial role in this field. Within Rabobank, we have built a data-driven solution that analyses over 11 million transactions daily to detect customers who launder money or finance terrorists. As the behavioural patterns of criminals constantly evolve, our solution needs to adapt and become just as quickly. To keep our solution flexible and stable, we need intelligent individuals like yourself who are passionate about extending and improving our current Transaction Monitoring (TM) solutions.

To keep our TM solution up to date to fight financial crime, you are passionate about working together in a team where you provide your expertise to enable the team to make better-informed decisions regarding the technical design and implementation of analytical solutions. This way, you make sure Rabobank will be able to fight financial crime effectively.

Your responsibilities

• Developing Infrastructure as code on Azure
• Streamlining the current Azure DevOps pipelines
• Operational responsibility of day-to-day production processes
• Developing and optimizing Azure Data Factory pipelines
• Provide test automation support
• Collaborating with other team members and/or squads and defining clear requirements
• Setting up and guiding our team towards best practices

Must haves

• Minimal 3+ years of working experience as Platform/DevOps Engineer
• Proven experience with Azure Cloud, including Azure DevOps
• Proven experience with coding languages as Python, PySpark
• Proven experience in automating deployment and operational processes
• Interest in operating and maintaining platform infrastructure to support our area
• Motivated to catch criminals and understand the role a TM Detection platform plays in this
• Thrive in a high-impact, dynamic and high-paced environment with a large stakeholder field and overseeing a complex solution
