We are looking for a Diplomate (ECVDI/ACVR)/board-Certified Specialist in Small Animal Diagnostic Imaging to join our ambitious team.
Medisch Centrum voor Dieren is one of the largest small animal hospitals in the Netherlands. The hospital is part of the AniCura group. Our aim is to improve the quality of life of pet animals by offering specialist, emergency and critical care services, 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. The hospital is currently staffed with 11 specialists, 25 veterinarians and 70 veterinary technicians. We have services in radiology, internal medicine, small tissue surgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, dermatology and emergency care. We are housed in a new modern building (2010, 1800 square feet), and supplied with all the modern equipment for diagnosis and treatment in small animal medicine.
The radiology team of Medisch Centrum voor Dieren, consists of three specialists Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (Dip ECVDI), two ECVDI residents, and five dedicated Imaging Nurses. The team provides imaging support for all the departments of the hospital.
Imaging facilities and Equipment:
A team player who enjoys working in a dynamic environment with high level clinical cases. High intercollegiate communication skills, both within our radiology team as well as with other departments in our clinic and our referring veterinarians is expected, in order to contribute to a positive working atmosphere.
- Must be a graduate from a veterinary school that has been approved by the European Association of Veterinary Education Establishments
- Satisfactory moral and ethical standing in the profession and in the community is a requirement.
- Good communication skills and a team spirit are essential
- Good skills in English, both written and spoken. Good skills in Dutch language is not a requirement, but it is an advantage. We will support you to learn Dutch if you do not master the Dutch language.
