What are you going to do?

As a Medior Python Developer in our Logistics Tribe, you will work on our communication-app ONS Berichten. With the shortage of capacity in healthcare, more and more care tasks also end up with people in the client's personal network. Fast communication and coordination in this helps to make the cooperation run as smoothly as possible. Ons Berichten currently only supports this between employees, with your contribution we want to expand this so that we can create a communication platform for everyone involved in the care market.

Your responsibilities

• Increase functionality: You will enhance the backend of our messaging app to increase functionality and ensure seamless integration with the Ons Suite;

• Matrix communication protocol: You will leverage the open standard Matrix communication protocol to keep our app at the forefront of technology and interoperability;

• Collaboration: Collaborate with teammates, including our UX, Support and Account Management colleagues;

• Plan and implement features: You will plan and implement new features that will improve communication for healthcare professionals.

Your team

As a Medior Python Developer, you will work in the Communications Team. This is a small team that works closely together and is highly motivated to make a success of our applications. Although we are part of a larger group, there is more of an agile startup mentality within the team.

We are currently testing a new version with many additional features and strive to become an essential part of the ONS Suite by making communication available when and where needed. We work closely with our mobile, support and account management colleagues to ensure that we are on the same page and can respond quickly when change is needed.

Required experience and skills

In addition, you recognize yourself in the following:

• Experience: At least 4 years of experience in web development, preferably in Python;

• Critical: You are critical and like constructive discussions;

• Language: Excellent command of English, Dutch is a plus;

• Time zone: Same time zone (GMT+1).

“Good to know: You are available for 32 -38 hours. Hybrid (remote) working is common within Nedap and together with your team you will arrange your own working hours for a good work/life balance. You will be present on our campus in Groenlo at least once a week.”
