As a Product Compliance Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring that our products comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Your expertise is needed throughout the product development phases, starting with product innovations and working through market entrance into new countries. You are the expert!

You keep abreast of product compliance and consistently assess our products against relevant laws, regulations, and standards. You perform risk analyses and internal audits to identify and mitigate potential compliance issues.

You play an important role in stakeholder management, both internally and externally, and know how to include various colleagues during the process. You advise on best practices, compliance requirements, and industry standards. You consult externally with authorities about the interpretation of standards and inspections. You coordinate external auditors during inspections and audits.

You share your expertise by providing training on compliance related topics. You keep up-to-date and well-maintained documentation. You report the status of product compliance to management.

About your team

You will be part of the Expertise Team, which works within a growing Research and Development (R&D) department consisting of 60-70 colleagues. The Expertise Team consists of various experts (energy, water, packaging, CAD, installation, etc.) all working on various R&D projects. You will work with another Product Compliance Specialist and will report to the Manager of R&D.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

• Masters degree.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in product compliance, preferably related to consumer products.
• In-depth knowledge of national and international laws and regulations (e.g. CE marking, NSF, RoHS, REACH).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, for example in a production environment.
• Experience in conducting internal audits and risk analyses.
• Assertiveness and efficiency in communication and project continuity.
• Affinity with technology.
