What will you work on?
Reporting to the VP Finance, Europe, the SAP Integration Manager will be the key European Finance point of contact for the SAP upgrade to the latest version of SAP S/4 Hana cloud, ensuring that European requirements are incorporated in the system design, while working closely with the SAP S/4 Solution Team, and with colleagues across the Spin Master organization in Europe and North America. The Manager will support the design and implementation of end-to-end Record to Report (including Product Costing) processes including areas of OTC (Order to Cash) and PTP (Procure to Pay) with a Finance focus. The Manager will closely coordinate with Credit Collection, Accounts Payable, and Operations Finance in the European Shared Services Team and the Finance teams in the European Markets in delivery of the SAP ERP system.

How will you create impact?

• Work with Finance Stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, defining reporting strategy while identifying critical value opportunities that will maximize S4 Upgrade benefits for European Finance teams.
• Work with a broad range of key stakeholders across Spin Master in Europe and North America, to support the design and implementation of end-to-end Record to Report processes
• Work with a broad range of key stakeholders across Spin Master in Europe and North America, to support the design and implementation of the Order to Cash processes and PTP processes (including direct and indirect payables) as it relates to the area of European Finance
• Participate in Global Design workshops and interface with various stakeholders such as the S/4 leadership team, Core Project team, System Integrators (SI), European stakeholders and more, to design, test, and deploy the RTR functional workstream of the project, and the OTC and PTP processes relating to Finance.
• Assist the business with designing and validating process flows managed within the OTC and PTP platforms respectively
• Serve as a change agent by supporting European Finance leadership to ensure smooth transition to modern technology and new business processes. Support in the development of change management and communication plans. Accountable for obtaining partner alignment and business approval to support process improvements, break/fix solutions and system improvements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline business processes and reporting by leveraging SAP S/4 HANA and other software to maximize business benefits.
• Ensure robust User Acceptance Testing across all European Finance functions through collaboration with both project and functional teams
• Partner with the key stakeholders to facilitate smooth system integration, analyzing legacy data, quality check, data cleansing, data migration and support related validation.
• Coordinate with European SME’s, GPO’s and project team members to ensure that the implementation is in line with project timelines, milestones, and scope.
• Be the main European Finance point of contact with the wider SAP implementation project team and be responsible for regular project updates and reporting as required by Europe Finance, Project Leadership and the PMO.

What are your skills and experience?

• Qualified ACCA/CIMA (or EU Equivalent) and/or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or similar and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated understanding of SAP business end to end processes in the RTR area (accounting, revenue, fixed assets, etc.) and financial integration with OTC area (AR, invoicing, cash applications, etc), and PTP area (direct/indirect, vendor accounting, payments, etc.)
• Previous experience leading a project workstream is preferred
• Strong experience modernizing finance technology in Europe with SAP cloud is required
• Strong project management, project planning, and ability to manage multiple deadlines is required
• Experience in organizational change management
• Strong data analytic skills and ability to summarize the findings
• Self-motivated with desire for continuous improvement
• Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
