Your goal

For our Tech Department in Doetinchem, we are looking for an experienced QA Engineer who can elevate the quality of our software to the next level. In this crucial role, you will work closely with a dedicated team of developers, focusing on ensuring a robust and reliable software experience. As QA Engineer, you will be a key link in the entire software development process, contributing to our pursuit of excellence and client satisfaction.

Your responsibilities

• Design and implement testing strategies to guarantee software quality;
• Test and debug software to detect and resolve issues early;
• Collaborate with software developers and product owners to understand the functional requirements and specifications of new features;
• Conduct both manual and automated testing and develop comprehensive test cases;
• Validate new releases and updates to ensure they meet quality standards;
• Monitor software performance and identify areas for improvement;
• Document test results and report quality-related findings;
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, technologies, and best practices.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a focus on software testing and quality assurance
• Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar tools;
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git;
• Experience working in an Agile development environment;
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, or Python is a plus;
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
