As an Infrastructure Engineer at Mathrix Netherlands you are responsible for designing, improving and deploying Mathrix' physical and digital infrastructure. You spend a lot of time setting up (low latency) network routes, writing code and building the tools to automate the constantly changing on‑premise hardware and cloud infrastructure for both the production trading and development environments. You configure the provisioning with security, integrity and low latency performance in mind.
Leveraging the infrastructure pipelines you will be able to work on performance testing hardware and software configuration projects to aid the low latency trading. You will feel the responsibility that arises as you have to care for the infrastructure that is the basis of Mathrix’ operations. To do so, you take pride in writing well structured, safe and maintainable code with a high degree of transparency and responsibility for security.
This role is crucial to our organization. Our team is small and therefore you get a lot of responsibilities and freedom. You are triggered by being faster than competitors and you like to focus on quality. As you can imagine in a small team, there is a flat hierarchy and everybody is really hands-on to be the best in what we do!
