INTRODUCTION
We are at a unique inflection point where we are preparing for the separation of Unilever’s Ice Cream business.
The Ice Cream Communications and Corporate Affairs team works to create value for Ice Cream as well as engage with its people to collectively work against the company's strategy and growth ambition.
This is an exciting role for someone who is passionate about working for a large ‘start-up’ business that is set up for strong financial performance, a leader in its product category, and eager to provide the best possible digital and social landscape a new company could need. The ideal candidate will have a blend of creativity, agility, strong stakeholder management skills, a hands-on growth-mindset and attention to detail. You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a solid track-record in digital communications. You will be a natural networker, and a trusted adviser on anything digital that can responsibly enhance our corporate online presence.
The role reports to the Sr Establishment Communications Manager and you will be working alongside driven and agile team in both communications and the establishment of world-leading standalone Ice Cream business.
Coming with a versatile communications background, you will be responsible for defining and establishing a creative, future-proof digital landscape for Ice Cream, coupled with the creation and execution of a global digital and content strategy that caters to our audiences and reflects our ambition and positioning. You drive integrated communications by translating the Ice Cream’s corporate initiatives, brands and campaigns into relevant diverse stories and initiatives that inspire everyone.
You will have experience advising and working with senior executives, you come with project management skills to successfully finalize projects. You should be able to exercise strong judgement, thrive in a collaborative environment, be able to prioritise competing deadlines and have a genuine passion for digital.
You should be someone who enjoys evolving Ice Cream’s digital presence and channel landscape, you have a hands-on mentality and see opportunities everywhere that help excite our audiences around the company.
