Expert Lead Audit and Control IAM

You will be responsible for developing and implementing clear guidelines and standards for Identity and Access Management, helping the organization ensure compliance and manage risks. Leading a team of experts, you will monitor progress and play an active role in steering the organization. As a trusted sparring partner for both internal and external audits, as well as Risk Management, you will ensure our processes meet the highest standards and requirements.

Your job

The overall challenge is to enhance our capabilities/services and to increase its usage and coverage in the organization. You are an Identity and Access Expert and you are able to steer the organization in such a way that we have safe & easy services which comply to our own standards. You have next to your leadership also a managerial responsibility for the value enablement and control team.

As a leader with an analytical and innovative mindset you will drive to improve the ways of working in the I&A grid. You want to make sure that the ABN AMRO organization is in control on the IAM subject. You will use your knowledge of complex IT-environments combined with Identity and Access Management, IT audit, banking channels to increase capability compliance in order to reduce Cyber Risk.

As Expert Lead Audit and Control IAM you’ll have a strategic role in the I&A grid. In that role you will ensure that you have a vision on IAM in-control road ahead and will be able to translate that into a comprehensive roadmap for future development of standard and guidelines, but also for backlog items on the different teams within ABN AMRO.

In order to meet these challenges, you keep yourself up to date on the latest developments in Identity and Access Management, IT infrastructure and/or online banking. Sharing your knowledge with colleagues and peers comes naturally to you.

Working environment

Our role as a driving force for information security for the bank and our customers directly impacts the security and stability of our society. You will work for the CISO department. The CISO department believes it is essential to connect the interests of our clients, society and the bank. CISO employs approximately 400 colleagues who are responsible for the bank's information security worldwide. In short, you will be working in a dynamic and international environment that is constantly evolving and looking for innovative information security solutions for the bank, the customers and society. We work in a hybrid way from home and at the office in Amstelveen, close to Amsterdam. Within the team and organization we mainly speak English.

You will work as the Expert Lead Audit and Control within ABN AMRO CISO’s Identity and Access Grid. The team consists of motivated and passionate IAM experts, developers, enablement officers and operations.

Your profile

You must have the following requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• More than 5 years of experience in preferably IT Audit and Compliance
• Excellent and proven stakeholder management skills;
• Proven experience in leading teams of professionals, motivating experts, and effectively coordinating tasks to achieve results.
• At least 3 years experience in Risk Management

And it would be really nice if you recognize yourself in the following requirements as well:

• A background in cyber security and preferably relevant certifications such as CISA and CISSP;
• A basic (security) knowledge for the main IT layers such as: operating systems, network infrastructure, database management systems;
• Experience in creating Policy standards and guidelines for IAM;
• Knowledge of banking products and processes;
• Understanding of and experience with working in complex IT environments.
