System Integration Consultant

As a System Integration Consultant, your key challenge is to provide support for our clients in their transformation challenges in European energy market integration projects. These projects are often linked to implementations of the European Guidelines and Network Codes, integration of new electricity infrastructure (e.g. HVDC cables between bidding zones), or implementation of future-proof digital business processes.

Your role will vary from project to project, depending on the needs of the client(s). This means you will be involved in one or more implementation phases: from thoroughly assessing the necessary technological changes, up until the actual implementation and go-live.

You are responsible for the coordination and organisation of IT projects. You will ensure solid project management, securing overall implementation timelines, while ensuring alignment with all parties involved. You will interact with our clients, and potentially also with IT vendor(s) and/or Test Teams. You will not work as a developer or tester, but you will organise everything necessary and work together with others to secure execution of all implementation phases.

You will develop your system integration analysis, IT project management and leadership skills and will learn more about the complex energy markets while working on different disciplines and challenges. You will also deep-dive into the IT systems used in local and European energy markets.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You are an experienced professional, motivated to go the extra mile and always aiming to exceed client expectations. You have a broad interest in and a vision on European energy markets and the technology leading them. Experience in IT project management, system integration, or managing IT vendors/QA professionals is considered a plus.

• University Master's degree in a technical, science or business direction with excellent grades;
• 1 to 5 years working experience; project management experience and/or experience of electricity and gas/hydrogen markets is a plus
• Affinity with IT project management and/or system integration
• Sharp analytical skills, creative and strategic / forward-thinking
• Excellent communication skills, able to listen to and mobilise people
• Fluent in English (minimum c1), and fluent in at least one other European language
• Clear link with the Netherlands: you live or studied here or are otherwise connected
• International experience, entrepreneurial mindset, and strong organisational capabilities
• Most importantly: a keen interest in the energy transition and a clear desire to contribute to robust and sustainable energy systems in the Netherlands and Europe!
