About this role
Internal Audit provides assurance to our Board and Audit Committee on the status of the internal control environment and conducts assurance and advisory assignments as well as specific reviews at the request of senior management. Essential duties and responsibilities
Lead audit engagements and other projects, independently and within a team, in accordance with Internal Audit policies and procedures. Audits will cover regular business cycles, IT processes, and industry-specific processes.
Delivering objective assurance of the effectiveness of the organizations’ internal controls. Interact with business and technology stakeholders to assess risks, including security, compliance, and resiliency, associated with emerging technologies, software development, cloud services, data management, and privacy.
Lead and act as a thought leader, championing initiatives in departmental focus areas; demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous self-education in emerging technologies and frameworks.
Support the development of advanced technology audit programs in collaboration with the audit team and subject matter experts (SMEs).
Cooperate with other assurance providers.
Your profile
You are a seasoned technology-savvy professional with 7+ years of experience in audit, risk, or compliance roles, bringing strong analytical and leadership skills to the table. You are a strong communicator, able to simplify difficult concepts for stakeholders and influence decision-making at various levels of the organization. You are eager to continuously expand your expertise in emerging technologies and take pride in being a thought leader in areas related to information and data security, data privacy, software development best practices, and operational excellence. You are a proactive leader, with a demonstrated ability to manage and lead projects with high levels of risk and complexity. You have a flexible mindset, can step out of your comfort zone, and dive into new subjects if needed.
Key requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A Master’s degree or relevant certifications such as RE, CIA, or CISA are preferred.
- Strong affinity with Data analysis
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English, our corporate language. Proficiency in further languages is appreciated.
- Strong ethical standards and the ability to be an Audit Professional in both appearance and fact.
- Strong team player and self-management skills.
- Willingness to travel abroad, typically one-week durations within Europe, the Americas, and AsiaPac.
