Learn & Develop as a Social Impact Specialist

We are looking for a Learning & Development specialist in our Social Impact & Human Rights team who is passionate about social sustainability. Your job

We are looking for an enthusiastic Learning & Development professional with knowledge and interest in Social impact and/or Human Rights. As a Learning & Development specialist in the Social Impact & Human Rights team of the SCE, you play an essential role in facilitating our employees' understanding of human rights and social impact, thereby embedding our work within the organisation. You will also be responsible for overseeing the learning and development initiatives throughout the bank with regards to social impact and human rights. You work together and align closely with client units and other departments such as corporate banking, wealth management, and detecting financial crime. You translate the impact into strategic and tactical advice and implementation plans.

Working environment

The SCE is a department with approximately 85-90 FTEs and operates on a global level. The SCE is managed by the CSO (Chief Sustainability Officer) and is divided into sub-departments with a specialist focus (Climate, Social Impact, Circular & Biodiversity) and a broad focus (Reporting, Regulations & Stakeholder Management, ESG Data and Business Insights). You will report to the team lead responsible for Social Impact and Human Rights and work in a team of 9 FTEs, which has social impact and human rights in its scope.

Your profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague who is not afraid to ask questions, works in a structured manner, and deals with challenges in a proactive and decisive manner. You are critical, with a practical mindset, and you do not allow others to derail you from your course. Your role implies strong communication skills and stakeholder management and active participation in our dynamic team. We ask:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Learning and Development, preferably in the field of sustainability, social impact & human rights
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (WO/ HBO)
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage
  • Flexible attitude with strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach
  • Passion to make impact, demonstrated interest in social impact and/ or human rights
  • Driven to translate theory into actionable solutions for our organisation and employees
