A day in the life of a Senior SAP Composable Storefront (Spartacus) Developer

As a Senior SAP Composable Storefront (Spartacus) Developer, you fulfill an essential role. You will mainly be responsible for developing and maintaining E-commerce Web Applications using Spartacus, Angular, TypeScript, and other front-end technologies in continuous collaboration with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and product managers to deliver seamless and efficient user experiences.

In addition, you will:

• Architect and Implement Solutions: Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and performant front-end architectures and frameworks.
• Code Reviews and Mentorship: Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers to ensure code quality and best practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and continuously improve the development process and tools.
• Testing and Debugging: Implement unit tests, integration tests, and debugging strategies to ensure the robustness and reliability of the code.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation to support the development process and knowledge sharing within the team.

You and the role

You are someone with 5-7 years of experience in the field of front-end development. With proven experience in developing complex web applications using Angular, preferably Angular 17. Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap is also preferred.

We would love if you have

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of Angular framework, its core principles, and best practices.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in SAP composable storefront (Spartacus).
• Very good experience with RxJS library.
• Experience with state management libraries such as NgRx.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Knowledge of build tools like Webpack, Angular CLI, and NPM.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, or Protractor.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of composable storefront solutions.
• Knowledge of server-side technologies Java Spring framework.
• Knowledge on SAP Commerce Cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
