ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
In the Sales Team for our European Distributor Markets (EDM), we are responsible for our Prestige and Consumer Beauty business in over 40 countries in the EMEA region. Furthermore, we manage some of the biggest and fastest-growing e-commerce retailers in Europe as well as some newcomers in the Beauty category. We are a dynamic and international team of highly motivated salespeople, and together with our colleagues from the broader EDM organization, we are shaping the future of our brands in markets with over 300 million consumers. We do this in close collaboration with our distributor and retail partners, and we cover a wide range of different business models.
THE ROLE
Coty is seeking a highly motivated Distributor Sales intern to join Coty’s Europe Distributor Markets Sales team, located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. As an intern, you will be contributing and supporting our North region, which includes Scandinavia and Iceland. In this role, you will be part of an experienced team of Sales Managers to develop the business in line with the agreed strategies and targets. You will support the Sales Manager and Cluster Leader on our major accounts, assist in day-to-day account management, ensure a perfect execution, and help build a strong collaboration with the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze the retail sales performance of our top retailers across Scandinavia
- Monitor campaigns, competition & content for all customers
- Conduct in-depth analysis of our trade plan and identify budget optimization opportunities
- Assist in the development of business strategies by conducting in-depth analysis and identifying new market opportunities
- Follow up on the implementation of digital assets on our ecommerce channels
- Support with day-to-day account management tasks
In this full-time internship, you will report to the Sales Manager Scandinavia & Iceland, who is located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

- Passion for sales performance
- HBO/WO Student (Bachelor/Master), for this internship it is important you remain enrolled with your university during the whole internship
- Proactive and hands-on
- Analytical thinking and smart selling
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Does not shy away from responsibilities and is happy to provide added value
- Flexible and loves challenges
- Good communication skills and likes to work in a team
- Fluent in English is mandatory
- A first experience in sales or the beauty industry is a plus
