Fleet & Facilities Supervisor

What this position is about – Purpose

The Fleet & Facilities Executive will have to understand all fleet operations across Egypt in both the market & GSC. He/she will have to work on the fleet process improvement by introducing new initiatives to improve the process and provide better service with better quality and better cost. He/she will be fully responsible for the Market facilities, and lead related projects, he/she will have to follow all preventive and corrective maintenance required for market facilities. This includes executing daily checklists, identifying any gaps and issues and solving promptly, also managing all maintenance contracts under his responsibilities. He/she must ensure quality and conformity to specifications in all projects and coordinate the execution with all other departments. He/she will be responsible for preparing all relevant reports and analytical data requested and ensuring the EHS policies implementation in Egypt Market Premises, per Egyptian Civil Defense Requirements and JTI Safety Standards. All relevant KPIs (Fleet / Facilities / Energy / Safety) shall be monitored and delivered as per the plan including the JTG Sustainability Target and Green Mobility plan.

What will you do – Responsibilities:
  • Facility Management (35%): Manage technical fault systems and provide timely solutions. Sustain all the buildings in the optimum conditions and provide plans to upgrade all buildings based on JTI standards. Manage frameworks related to buildings and utilities with external parties and manage consultants' work and requirements related to buildings and utilities as well as coordinate site contractors’ activities. Conduct regular maintenance plans for market facilities. Coordinate different site layouts and drawings (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical). Responsible for engineering activities within the business relevant to his/her scope.
  • Projects (20%): Lead Fleet & Facilities projects and provide the M&S team with the right utility requirements to ensure steady sales operation. Follow up on contractor progress in the site Vs. the project timeline. Lead and ensure implementation of multiple projects within timely, budget, quality and safety standards including Project Development & Execution. Manage the process of transforming 'requirements' or 'ideas' into executable engineering propositions and plans. Lead all renovations, sustainability, and green mobility projects.
  • Fleet (15%): Develop necessary policies and regulations to leverage the fleet operation standards. Supervise the day-to-day fleet operation activities and manage all contracts and communications with Fleet Service Providers (Leasing, transportation, maintenance.). Monitor and follow up on Fuel Consumption. Improve the fleet operations to offer better service to JTI Employees, with the best quality and cost, this includes proposing changes in fleet SOPs or day-to-day operations. Lease with procurement and legal to revise all fleet-related contracts and propose changes if needed. Implement Global Driver Safety policies, and make sure that our fleet is always adhering to global policies.
  • Environment, Health & Safety (15%): Develop, compose and propose new measures to achieve the established Health and safety standards in all Market DCs & Fleet forces. Conduct necessary inductions and training for all drivers on driving and EHS measurements to ensure they have the required awareness and knowledge. Perform the follow-up of the accidental situation, the analysis and determination of accident causes, propose preventive and corrective measures and implement the required safety concept, after a risk assessment is performed. Support in changing safety mindsets through campaigns and employee engagement through creative and dynamic thinking. Provide and implement sustainability solutions to meet annual savings targets and JTI commitments. Follow the annual KPIs related to EHS and provide needed reports on time.
  • Budgeting (15%): Plan annual Fleet & Facilities budget and monitor/control monthly expenditures to achieve optimum usage and cost efficiency. Audit and investigate areas with excess energy/water consumption and recommend programs and solutions for optimum consumption. Drive the implementation of new cost-saving initiatives.
Whom are we looking for – Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering is preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Fluent in oral and written English and Arabic
  • Computer: Excellent skills in MS Office tools
  • Communication skills
  • Time Management skills
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Supervisory skills and project management professional experience are preferred
