During this internship you will be working closely with our software engineers and data scientist.

What will you do?

We are excited to offer an internship opportunity to a motivated and talented intern to join our team and contribute to the development and deployment of NLP models within our MLOps framework. We are committed to ensure high standards of safety for our employees. In our Safety Security and Crisis Management Department we continuously strives to enhance our safety protocols and reporting mechanisms. To support this mission, we are developing an advanced safety reporting application: See It, Say It that leverages Natural Language Processing (NLP) to streamline the reporting process and assist our analysts.

Where do you land?

You will join the D&T platform Safety, Security and Crisis management where you will work on our safety reporting app. You will be working on the following:

• Colaborating in development of NLP Models: Assist in the creation and fine-tuning of NLP classifiers to enhance the safety reporting application;
• MLOps Framework Integration: Work on integrating NLP models into our existing MLOps framework to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring
• Co-reseach in posibilities for use state-of-the art models: Reseach on the possibilities to incorporate state-of-the-art models for improving the performance and accuracy of our NLP solutions.

Your profile

• Bachelor/Master of Currently pursuing at least a bacherlors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field;
• Strong understanding of NLP concepts and experience with NLP libraries (e.g., SpaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face Transformers);
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch);
• Experience with MLOps tools and practices is a plus (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow);
• Strong programming skills in Python;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
• Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts and collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
