Intern Medical Marketing

Are you interested in developing and helping implement medical marketing activities for doctors all over the world? Then you have found the perfect internship!

We are seeking an intern to start in February 2025, who would like to work for Friso, an infant nutrition brand, with an emphasis on medical marketing. The role involves supporting the development and implementation of marketing activities for Health Care professionals (HCPs) across a diverse portfolio of countries such as Mexico, Singapore, and Azerbaijan. The position requires close cooperation with a multi-disciplinary team that includes distributors, sales, local marketing, global marketing, and regulatory affairs, among others. Event management skills will definitely help you in this role as there will be two very big medical events coming up!

What We Ask

  • We are looking for a student who is in their 3rd year of a Bachelor's Degree or pursuing a Master’s Degree in a relevant area (e.g., Medical or Nutrition related Sciences, Event Management, Marketing).
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is required. Spanish is a big plus, and other languages are also a plus. Dutch is not a requirement.
  • Availability from February 2024 for a minimum of 6 months, 4-5 days per week. During one or two big events, full-time presence on the job is expected.
  • Residence in the Netherlands with the ability to work from Amersfoort for 2 days a week.
  • A hands-on mentality, independence, and proactiveness, along with good communication skills. Sensitivity to cultural differences and the ability to connect with people, alongside being a team player with an entrepreneurial mentality, are also necessary.

What We Offer

The opportunity to gain experience working for one of the biggest dairy cooperatives in the world in an interdisciplinary team. You will learn about medical marketing and develop professionally during your internship period. Additionally, a compliant internship allowance will be provided.

Vacancy Description

During your internship, you will be part of the Specialised Nutrition Export Team, reporting to the Medical Marketing Manager, and have close cooperation with the local Medical Marketing Teams. You will have extensive interaction with colleagues, third-party providers, and business relations across all levels and different countries.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading event management for several HCP-organized events in the Netherlands, such as a 4-day Nature & Science Experience with 30+ Mexican doctors.
  • Supporting medical marketing strategy implementation across multiple countries, campaign launches, and performance tracking.
  • Coordinating international HCP events for selected countries, such as the ESPGHAN congress in Helsinki and the Global Friso symposium.
