WO Intern Asset Manager Oversight

With your contribution, we will bring asset manager oversight to the next level and will ensure regulatory compliance by evaluating operational and valuation risks regarding prospective and current external asset managers.

As an intern, you will be actively involved in the Private Markets Mid Office team of NN Group and you will oversee third party real estate, private equity, private debt and infrastructure equity asset managers. This internship will give you great insights on investment processes, operational due diligence, mark-to-model valuations, internal reporting and data governance. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of different projects.

You will learn on the job how we as a team challenge valuations with external asset managers and discuss results with different stakeholders and the auditor. Next to this, this internship will give you insights on data processes within NN Group’s reporting platform.

• Review and process qualitative/quantitative data received from external asset managers
• Assess movements on valuations of private companies, real estate properties, infrastructure equity projects, and private debt loans
• Monitor developments of the private market portfolio over time using public market benchmarks and assess potential risks.
• Prepare and participate in valuation-related discussions with external asset managers
• Active project involvement in valuations and operational due diligence

The Mid Office stream, a diverse and international team of investment & finance professionals, includes four teams; Pricing & Valuation, Investment Oversight & Control Private Markets, Business Implementation, and Performance Analytics. We really come from all over the world: China, Germany, India, Spain, Southern America, Greece, Belgium, and The Netherlands. That fits perfectly with our international investment portfolio.
