Role: KYC Analyst

Your impact at MUFG:

• Provide end-to-end dedicated and robust KYC expertise throughout the onboarding and periodic review processes within the Global Corporate Investment Banking department.
• Add critical thinking in all aspects of the Customer Due Diligence lifecycle, fulfilling Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
• Work closely with the Customer Support Office team, compliance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure customer KYC records are compliant with high quality.

Function Positioning

The function forms part of the GCIB front office KYC team. The Analyst reports directly to the Team Lead, Front Office KYC team in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete accurate KYC reviews for new/existing customers in Germany, Netherlands, and Spain.
• Analyse customer KYC risks such as money-laundering, terrorist financing, and financial crimes.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy in customer reviews.
• Perform screening of customers using tools to identify PEPs and adverse media.

Skills and Experience

• Academic degree and preferably additional certification in AML.
• 2+ years of experience in the KYC domain for Corporate Banking customers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Spanish is a big plus.
• Deep knowledge of AML requirements of the local regulator.
