Business Manager of the Head of Finance & Risk Business Grids

We are looking for a Business Manager responsible for the strategic support of the Head of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG) and its Management Team.

Your Job

As Business Manager, you support the Head of F&RBG in the initiation, development, implementation, and monitoring of team goals, translating these into activities, projects, and plans. You act as a sparring partner on all subjects and manage managerial duties for the Head and Management Team. Coordination of Management Team F&RBG meetings, ensuring the completion of resulting actions, and handling F&RBG wide matters such as audit, risk, compliance, HR, and Finance are key responsibilities. You work closely with stakeholders across Risk departments, Finance, HR, Finance/Controlling, and Business Units. Leading processes or project teams may also be required.

Working Environment

The Finance & Risk Business Grids department provides services to stakeholders including Group Finance, Risk Management, Legal, and Internal Audit. These services cover operations, change activities, systems, processes, data and information management, and analytics capabilities with embedded controls and required documentation.

Your Profile

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • Willingness to work flexibly; no 9 to 5 mentality.
  • Integrity is expected due to handling confidential information.
  • Eagerness to learn and knowledge of ABN AMRO, Risk Management, mission and strategy, and organizational culture.
  • Enterprising, proactive, and collaborative nature.
  • Strong stakeholder skills; easily make contact and are approachable.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of work experience in banking or consultancy.
  • University education.
  • Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, project planning, budget, and management information techniques.
  • Good command of English and Dutch.

We Are Offering

  • The gross monthly salary based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
  • An 11% Benefit Budget to acquire additional employment benefits.
  • Five weeks of vacation annually, with the option to purchase an additional four weeks.
  • A personal development budget of €1,000 per year, up to a maximum of €3,000.
  • Possibility to work from home (depending on the role and team agreement).
