Summer Intern Naval Ships Electrical Engineer

What You Will Be Doing

As a Summer Intern, you will play a pivotal role in suggestions surrounding electronic product content, optimizing hardware and software design concepts, developing sophisticated design processes, and testing complex products. You will gain exposure to the entire project lifecycle, playing a key role in maintaining existing systems and developing new technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Join us and make recommendations about electronic product content, optimize hardware and software design concepts, and develop sophisticated design processes and test complex products.
• Assess equipment behavior and diagnose faults, evaluate new technologies and components.
• Conduct laboratory tests, capture data, simulate and model circuits/firmware, and prepare technical reports.
• Gain exposure to the entire project lifecycle, playing a key role in maintaining existing systems and developing new technologies.
• Engage in projects outside your primary remit for a broader experience.

Skills

As a minimum requirement, you’ll need to be on track to obtain a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics. To be considered for this role, you must be returning to university to complete your degree.
