What You Will Be Doing

Within Systems Engineering, we offer opportunities in Flight, Mission, and General Systems disciplines. As a Graduate Engineer, you will bring your skills and knowledge into one of these domains, specializing or integrating across products and tools. You will have opportunities to work on different stages of a product lifecycle, taking lead in systems integration and testing, qualification, and acceptance.

In addition to the technical aspects of projects, you will also learn to balance important factors such as schedules, costs, training, through life support, while always considering safety and environmental concerns.

Under technical supervision, you will provide Systems Engineering services to projects, bids, and improvement initiatives as directed by the Systems Engineering Discipline Lead.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supporting the development of strategies to ensure systems fully satisfy customer and business needs/requirements.
• Capturing and analyzing requirements to understand customer/business needs and the system context.
• Supporting the design and optimization of system architectures and solutions using system modeling techniques.
• Facilitating successful integration of systems and sub-systems.
• Determining emergent system properties to support trade-offs, optimization, risk reduction, and testing.
• Defining verification and validation approaches to achieve system certification and acceptance.
• Identifying safety hazards and assessing and mitigating safety risks.
• Providing systems engineering support to project and functional teams.

Skills

As a minimum requirement, you will need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aerospace-related degree, or any STEM subject.
