BTW Specialist/VAT Specialist - BPS

Your focus lies in the area of compliance; you will file VAT and additional tax returns for medium to large international companies and advise on the setup and execution of the VAT administration for clients at Deloitte.

What impact will you make?

For the International Compliance & Reporting department, we are looking for a Consultant Indirect Tax (tax advisor for indirect taxes/VAT). Your focus will mainly be on compliance, filing VAT and additional tax returns for medium to large international companies, and advising on the setup and execution of the VAT administration for clients. You will work closely with our specialists in the field of indirect taxes. As a VAT specialist, you breathe VAT and keep the team informed of the latest news on specific VAT knowledge.

How do you do this?

Daily tasks within the international compliance team include:

• Preparing VAT and Intrastat declarations;
• Preparing European sales listings;
• Reconciling the VAT ledger with VAT returns;
• Designing and implementing VAT administrations for clients;
• Advising on VAT compliance and VAT audits;
• Identifying VAT advice and VAT issues.

You will also mentor younger colleagues and train them to become professionals in the field of VAT and compliance.

Within this department, the focus is on real estate, holdings, and technology.
