Mobile App Analyst at Nationale-Nederlanden Bank

As a Mobile App Analyst at Nationale-Nederlanden Bank, you’ll be at the forefront of enhancing the digital experience for our customers, working hands-on with data-rich critical infrastructure payments. Joining our Customer Engagement and Growth team in The Hague, you’ll use your analytical expertise to fine-tune the NN App, making it an essential financial companion for our clients. With a focus on optimising every customer journey, you’ll collaborate across departments to bring meaningful improvements.

We value work-life balance and offer the flexibility of hybrid working from anywhere in the EU for the first year of your contract, ensuring you have the space to thrive personally and professionally.

You’ll have a unique opportunity to shape the foundation of our app analytics as the first dedicated Mobile App Analyst at NN Bank. Your role is pivotal in driving the performance of new products and propositions within the NN App. You will ensure that our app meets and exceeds customer expectations by transforming data into actionable insights. Working closely with developers, marketers, and product owners, you'll be the go-to expert for making data measurable, structured, and insightful.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and implementing measurement plans, ensuring comprehensive data collection and accuracy
  • Monitoring and maintaining data integrity, deduplicating and categorising as necessary while linking it with internal and external sources
  • Creating dashboards with relevant KPIs, providing insights into app performance trends and advising on benchmarks
  • Conducting in-depth analysis, identifying key areas for improvement and advising stakeholders on the next steps
  • Generating actionable insights, presenting data in a way that highlights both successes and areas needing optimisation

NN invests in an inclusive, inspiring work environment and skills and competencies for the future. We match this with employee benefits that align with what is needed today and in the future. This way, we offer our employees the opportunity to get the best out of themselves.

We offer you:
  • A salary between €4.686 and €6.694 based on 36 hours a workweek, depending on your knowledge and experience
  • A 13th month and holiday allowance paid with your monthly salary
  • 27 vacation days for a 5-day working week and one Diversity Day
  • A modern pension administered by BeFrank
  • Plenty of training and learning opportunities
  • NS Business Card 2nd class, which gives you unlimited travel, also privately. Prefer to travel with your own transport? You can declare the kilometres travelled
  • Allowances for setting up your home office and for internet use

You're passionate about data, with a talent for uncovering valuable insights that drive success. A keen eye for detail allows you to spot trends and opportunities, and you proactively engage with your team to discuss improvements. With a strong foundation in mobile app analytics, you excel at implementing and visualizing data, especially within Agile environments. Your ability to communicate insights—both verbally and visually—sets you apart, ensuring your advice is always data-driven and actionable. When analytics isn’t yet established, you’re quick to step in and set it up.

You also have:
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in data analytics, big data, digital marketing, or another relevant area
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Mobile App Analyst, preferably in an Agile environment
  • Proficiency in app analytics tools and experience with implementing app measurements (Adobe Analytics and Adobe Experience Platform Mobile SDK are a plus)
  • Skill in visualizing data and exposure to Adobe Experience Platform tools such as Target, CDP, and Launch
  • Knowledge of web analytics

Please note that a technical assignment and an HR test will be part of the selection process.

You will be part of a dynamic and diverse team, working closely with customer journey experts, designers, digital marketers, and product owners within and beyond Nationale-Nederlanden Bank. While you will naturally have to deal with much compliance in regulation, the department operates more like a tech company than a traditional bank. The atmosphere is casual, open, and collaborative, fostering innovation and excellence across all teams. Additionally, you'll join the NN-wide Web & App Analytics Guild, a community of fellow analysts where you can share insights, exchange knowledge, and continuously improve your expertise.

If you have any questions about the job or recruitment process, please don’t hesitate to contact Joyce van der Burg, Talent Acquisition Specialist at joyce.van.der.burg@nn-group.com
