About the Area

The Area Data Models, Analytics & Calculations within the Housing tribe is responsible for the data logistic chain within the lending domain, models, analytics and complex calculations. To deliver and renew our services with the right quality, we strive to be a high performing team (HPT). Fun, ownership and mutual trust form the basis of our team.

Role as a Scrum Master

As Scrum Master, you will be guiding and coaching High Performing Teams to a level they aspire to. Together you create high-value products using Agile/Scrum concepts and principles.

• You are able to coach your team to self-organise and ensure nothing stands in the way of a good team delivery.
• Remove impediments or guide the team to remove them.
• Contribute to achieving the area and tribe's ambitious objectives and ensure a clear Scrum strategy within the department.
• Coordinate the backlog and priorities with stakeholders inside and outside the team.
• Initiate and participate in a continuous improvement process.
• Support several teams by educating them and helping them control progress on the (software) development process.

Qualities We Seek

• Intrinsically motivate the teams and area leadership to embrace the Scrum framework and help them grow.
• Are experienced in coaching teams on process, product, people, and technology.
• Possess a passion for Agile, know the Scrum framework and people well, and create a culture of continuous improvement.
• Stand your ground when it comes to Agile working in various settings and know how to make Agile work for the teams.
• Can identify recurring themes on a larger scale and take the lead to accomplish tasks.
• Inspire other Scrum Masters and have experience in guiding them to improve to the next level.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Educated at University level, finished bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master and experienced in Agile Coaching
• At least a Scrum Master certificate like PSM1/PSM2
• Experience in guiding multicultural teams
• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills, with conversations focusing on scrum values of openness, honesty, and respect
• Fluent English is a must, fluency in Dutch is a plus
• Knowledge and experience as a developer or tester or business analyst
• Knowledge and experience of data warehouses and SQL

What We Offer

• A gross monthly salary between € 4,068.63 and € 5,811.03 (salary scale 9/10), depending on experience, knowledge, and education.
• An 8% holiday allowance and a 13th month.
• A pension scheme, to which your contribution is only 5.5%.
• An Employee Benefit Budget (11% of your monthly salary); you decide how to spend this budget. This may include purchasing extra leave days, making extra pension contributions, or even receiving extra cash on a monthly basis.
• An annual Personal Development Budget of € 1,400.
• 100% reimbursement of commuting costs if you travel by public transport. Prefer to travel by car or motorbike? Then choose a commuting allowance.
• A monthly € 40 net work from home allowance, based on working from home 5 days per week.
• A monthly € 40 net internet allowance.
