After-Sales Technical Support Intern

About the position:

HIKMICRO is now looking for an After-Sales Technical Support Intern for the Return Merchandise Administration Team. The Intern will work closely with technical support specialists, after-sales service team and warehouse team.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to learn about our wide variety of thermal imaging products, including their features, designs, daily upkeep, frequently encountered technical issues, and the corresponding solutions. In addition to firsthand experiences with the products, you will also learn about the entire workflow surrounding the after-sales team, from contacting customers, coordinating with internal team members and third-party business partners, handling the repairs and returns, as well as organizing our warehouse.

Responsibilities:

In addition to daily training sessions about our thermal imaging products,

• participate in one-on-one trainings regarding HIKMICRO’s different thermal imaging products, their applications, designs, features, daily upkeep, and technical solutions for frequently encountered issues.
• repair products according to the guidance of maintenance experts, export of operational reports on repair problems.
• respond to technical repair consulting questions.
• assist in sorting out and summarizing repair problems, provide feedback and track problems until resolution.
• assist in the completion of material inventory work.
• assist in temporary emergency shipment.

You are the perfect candidate, if you:

• are enrolled in a Dutch higher education institution for the entire duration of the internship.
• are familiar with electronic products.
• have an educational background in engineering/computer science or other related fields. Knowledge in technical fields is preferred.
• are available for at least 4 months for 3 to 5 days per week.
• have excellent communication, analysis, problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail.
• are proficient in Microsoft office, Outlook, SAP, and other standard computer software.
• are fluent in English. Additional fluency in Chinese is preferred.
