Imagine… Being actively involved in the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team of Rabobank and support both deal origination and execution processes through synthesizing information such as sector, company and market research, valuation modelling, preparing presentations, and being part of client meetings and pitches. Rabobank’s ECM team is specialised in originating and executing equity capital markets transactions. The ECM-related products and services include initial public offerings (IPOs), secondary offerings (e.g. rights issues, accelerated bookbuild offerings), convertible bond offerings and financial advisory. Rabobank ECM has a continuous strategic dialogue with the majority of listed companies in the Netherlands and Food & Agri globally as well as with potential listing candidates and financial sponsors. A selection of high profile transactions include the initial public offerings of Theon International, JDE Peets, Alfen, B&S Group, Avantium, Philips Lighting and numerous secondary offerings such as for Air France-KLM, Lucas Bols, Ebusco, Basic-Fit and many others. The team works closely together with the other Corporate Finance Advisory teams such as M&A to optimally assist our clients to achieve their strategic goals. We are looking for interns who can start from August 2024. Please note: you have to be enrolled in university during the entire internship. Please include your availability and the conformation that you are enrolled during that period in your letter. You will work on real-life opportunities and be integral part of the team, learning more about Equity Capital Markets at Rabobank. You can make a difference by: Assist in the preparation of client presentations; Perform company analysis (including their investment case, strategy, markets, products and competitors) and analysing the wider market (market trends and dynamics, investor perspectives); Support financial analyses, modelling and company valuations; Support in preparing management presentations, analyst presentations and prospectus. For this internship you are required to remain enrolled at a university during the duration of the internship and available to work full-time for at least 3 months. Required skills and experience: Completed your bachelor degree or currently enrolled in a master degree and affinity for finance; You have to be enrolled in a Dutch university and currently live in the Netherlands; Outstanding record of academic achievement combined with extra-curricular interests; Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills; Fluency in English, both verbal and in writing is a prerequisite; Fluency in at least one other European language (including Dutch) is preferred; Solid work ethic and high level of self-motivation; Strong team player.
