Data Administrator

Location: Portsmouth Naval Base, Great Baddow or Cowes. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Up to £29,500 depending on skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out administration activities within the engineering hub
  • Creating data to ensure accuracy on SAP
  • Amending existing data, keeping Materials Masters up to date
  • Removing approved duplicate data
  • Cleansing of master data to support the data reform project
  • Extending existing Material Masters to Plants including GFA
  • Supporting the gathering and processing of obsolescence data

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Knowledge/experience of working with data – using programmes such as Excel
  • Previous experience in engineering or data administration
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in an Engineering discipline (advantageous)

Desirable:

  • SAP experience
  • Previous experience in administration or engineering

The Engineering Data Hub team:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a team with data, supporting the engineering teams across Maritime and BAE Systems. This will include creating/maintaining/modifying Engineering Master Data to support all other areas of engineering e.g., design engineer team, mechanical engineer team.

There will be a range of on the job learning opportunities and support which will offer progression opportunities to a Data Hub Engineer role.
