Protecting the bank and its customers by ensuring that Economic Sanctions risks in client files are assessed and mitigated according to internal procedures and regulatory obligations, in line with the Banks Risk Appetite. You and your job The Team lead Economic Sanctions Monitoring is responsible for 10 to 15 employees. Next to that you are a MT member and therefore contribute to formation of policy for the larger organizational unit. You monitor the performance of the team and the team members, you keep everyone motivated and inspired and create an environment that promotes positive communication, reaching the (individual) targets and foster innovation within the team. The overall assignment of the review team is to investigate Sanction signals of both Business Clients as Private Clients. In case of multi risk files there will be a collaboration with other Business Lines across the organization. You’re responsible for ensuring the quality and quantity of your team and the department, implement HR management and realize team goals Practical Examples Assigning tasks to team members based on individual expertise, skills and availabilities. You must accurately assess each team members’ strengths to assign the tasks and functions. Contribution to or realizing policy plans, setting frameworks or goals. You are formulating the policy for the next 2-3 years. Making a meaningful contribution during multi-disciplinary meetings and representing the interest of the own team and organization unit. You and your talent A completed degree (HBO or university); 3 years’ experience as a FEC analyst or similar; Concrete substantive FEC knowledge and experience, in-depth knowledge of primary banking processes and systems; Concrete advanced knowledge of sanctions regulations, policies and procedures; An accredited counter reader for complex sanctions files or similar is preferable; Strong analytical skills and innovative thinking; Comfortable working in a dynamic environment; Proficient in both spoken and written Dutch and English; Encouraging others and stimulating cooperation; Excellent communication skills; Ability to make swift and informed decisions; Ability to anticipate and adapt quickly to change. This is what we offer you Up to € 7.307,58 gross per month (scale 10). In addition, a thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance.
