Do you want to be part of the data acceleration in the banking industry as Data Advisor within Data Management Solutions? Data Management Solutions is part of the Data Management Grid and responsible for the implementation of the metadata applications that forms the foundation for ABN AMRO's data management capabilities, the realisation of the front-end of these applications in the Data Marketplace and guiding the adoption with the relevant stakeholders.

As a Data Advisor you translate the strategic vision to the functional implementation of the products and processes, with a strong focus on enabling the Data Users to get rapid access to ready-to-consume data in a governed, traceable and secure manner.

Your job

As a Data Advisor you play a pivotal role in the Data Management Grid, with focus on Data Sharing Agreement. Data Sharing Agreement is a process that guides and supports Data Users to get the approvals they need. A dedicated Data Sharing Agreement team supports them to specify their data need, to get agreement with Data Owners, and to help deliver the data in the right way. This process will ultimately evolve into a self-service or automated Data Sharing Agreement process for getting rapid access to data.

Some examples of your responsibilities:

• Continuously align with Business Stakeholders to advise on how Data Sharing Agreement can bring value for them, and to understand their needs
• Identify potential improvements and gaps in existing products and processes by bringing the outside-in view
• Translate the strategic vision to the functional implementation of the products and processes
• Actively contribute to the drafting and maintenance of the necessary policy frameworks, policies and standards for Data Management
• Create awareness and involvement within the organisation by developing learning materials, publications, information meetings and all other forms of communication
• Take care of priority, cooperation, knowledge sharing, and process and capabilities building with regard to the Data Management area of Data Sharing Agreement
  

Working environment

The Data Management Grid provide solutions to enable the Data Domains in accelerate data-driven decisions. As a Data Advisor you are part of the Data Management Solutions enablement teams within the Data Management Grid and part of the Central Data Office. This is a central department of Innovation & Technology with a bank-wide responsibility for data management. You work closely together with the Business Stakeholders and users from all business lines of the Bank, and with advisors, product owners and other enthusiastic professionals in the Data Management Grid

Your profile

We are looking for a team player with a professional and open mindset that is focused on accelerating the Data Distribution processes, bringing the organisation forward in sourcing their data. New ideas and creativity in moving to the next step are welcomed. You have a Master’s degree or similar. At least 3 years of experience with:

• Consulting, stakeholder management and communication
• Data Management and Metadata Management (ability to quickly adopt our way of working, data management vision, technologies, methods and concepts)
• New data integration concepts
• Data Security, Data Governance and GDPR
• Conceptual thinking
• Effective problem solving
• Understanding and bridging the world of Business and IT
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English (understanding of Dutch is appreciated)
