Insights that truly add value to improving the digital customer experience. Can you help us with your expertise in app and web analytics and surprise us with useful insights? Together with colleagues, you will optimize the Nationale-Nederlanden app and web portal to provide the best user experience for our clients.

In close collaboration with the development teams and colleagues from many other departments, you will work on optimizing the NN App and mijn.nn. Features, screens, downloads, menus, each sentence or button, there is always room for improvement. From app store conversion, to that button in the lower left of the third screen. Everything has your analytical attention. You also ensure that the necessary data is available and readable. From setting up data layers to dashboarding the results.

Many customers log in to our website (mijn.nn) daily to manage their affairs digitally. In addition, the Nationale-Nederlanden app is undergoing a major transformation. It will become the core of our digital services. The app is not only important for customers, who can view or adjust their products or data, but it is increasingly becoming the place-to-go for prospects.

There are six areas where we need your help:

  • Making data measurable: You ensure that all possible useful data is collected through app and web analytics tools. You create measurement plans for the different features and know how to communicate them to our developers. You advise colleagues on new tools, you establish links with tag management and web analytics, you ensure that external traffic is well tagged, and you ensure that enough performance data is collected. From both the app stores and the app itself.
  • Structuring data / maintenance: You maintain the data layers of our websites and apps. You have an affinity for new technologies such as tools, tag management systems, and marketing automation software. You monitor incoming data for completeness, correctness, and timeliness. You deduplicate and categorize where necessary. You adjust data where necessary for further processing. You ensure meaningful links with other internal and external sources. You work together with other teams and the Web & App Analytics Guild to actually establish these links.
  • Creating an overview: You collect business targets, advise colleagues on logical KPIs, collect benchmarks and baselines, and create dashboards with meaningful, rational metrics over time. You advise colleagues on what you see happening around the app and mijn.nn. You monitor the availability and speed of the applications. You call for 'code orange' in time so that it never becomes 'code red'.
  • Analysis: Based on all those dashboards, you discuss with internal stakeholders where deeper analysis is needed. You will also receive requests from colleagues with all kinds of analysis requests. But most of the time, of course, you are already ahead of them. You clearly explain what logical next steps are for any additional analysis. Does more need to be tagged? Can you dive into the data and find the answer yourself? Or does it require qualitative research? You are the consultant with the best advice.
  • Insight: All the above effort ultimately leads to that insight. You know how to visualize and communicate data and insights in an attractive and manageable way. No bland vanity metrics, but real actionable advice. What did we overlook? Where is the problem? What can be improved? Are there optimizations to be considered? Does it need a complete overhaul? Everything is up for discussion. You will sometimes have to bring bad news and be appreciated for your analytical acumen.
  • Optimization: Ultimately, you want to optimize of course. Just like we do. Based on the advice in the Insight phase, you provide advice on possible optimizations. An AB test? A smoke test? You propose plans for this and ensure that they are implemented. You keep stakeholders informed of progress. You analyze the results and present this together with follow-up advice afterwards.

NN invests in an inclusive, inspiring work environment and in skills and competences for the future. We match this with employee benefits that are in line with what is needed today and in the future. This way, we offer our employees the opportunity to get the best out of themselves. We offer you:

  • Salary between €4.686 and €6.694 (based on 36 hours) depending on your knowledge and experience
  • 13th month and holiday allowance are paid with your monthly salary
  • 27 vacation days for a 5-day working week and one Diversity Day
  • A modern pension administered by BeFrank
  • Plenty of training and learning opportunities
  • NS Business Card 2nd class, which gives you unlimited travel, also privately. Do you prefer to travel with your own transport? Then you can declare the kilometers travelled
  • Allowances for setting up your home office and for internet use

You have a thing for data. You enjoy delving into numbers, with a keen eye for detail, searching for valuable insights for your team and stakeholders. You approach your team members to discuss notable trends and suggest improvements. You know how to communicate your insights clearly (both verbally and visually) and give good advice based on data. And where analytics has not been set up yet, you can help set it up quickly.

Matter of course, you have:

  • A relevant bachelor's or master's degree
  • At least 3 years of experience as an App or Web Analyst, preferably in an Agile environment
  • Experience in visualizing data; preferably with PowerBI and Adobe Analytics
  • Experience with app and web analytics tools, such as Adobe Analytics (preferred) and Google Analytics
  • Experience in implementing app measurements is strongly preferred
  • Affinity with tag management tools, preferably Adobe Launch
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Platform tools such as Target and CDP is a plus

You will become part of one of the several self-service teams that are dedicated to all of our private customers and prospects. However, your scope is not limited to this team. You will often work with other agile devops and marketing teams. The teams are relatively new (and therefore fresh and energetic) with a clear vision, a lot of stakeholder buy-in, and an ambitious roadmap. You will work agilely with many other disciplines.

Outside the team, you will be part of the Web & App Analytics Guild. Here, we share knowledge and inspiration, discuss standards, joint objectives, and professional development.

If you have any questions about the job, you can reach out via phone or WhatsApp to the recruiter Sophia Wery, Talent Acquistion Specialist via 06 57 82 11 67.
