How the Clinical Deployment Manager fits in

As Clinical Deployment Manager you’ll be responsible for the successful adoption of the blood drawing device for our European customers, both in terms of supporting new implementations and optimizing utilization at existing customers. 3 critical customer-centric themes will be the foundation of this role: preparing the customer for the arrival of the device, supporting the adoption including user-training, and provide adequate aftercare to ensure customers and patients are satisfied.

Since our devices will require changes in the customer’s overall organization, day-to-day approach and workflow, Vitestro is building a new deployment team that will guide the customer and patient through the first months of use. Communication, change management and workflow realignemt are important in this function Your primary responsibility is to ensure the integration of this new technology into the customer’s workprocesses and potentially connection to LIS systems.

The first devices have already been sold and the first deployments are to start – and we have ambitious plans to grow rapidly. You will report to the Head of Customer Success, and will work very closely together with our Product-, Services-, R&D- and Business Development teams.

Our ideal candidate

  • Takes full ownership of the interactions across the customer journey (from contract to customer go-live), ensuring a smooth, holistic customer experience
  • A great communicator: can guide both customers and patients to optimized use of the venipuncture device
  • Has experience in interaction with a broad set of stakeholders across leadership functions, supervisors and healthcare workers
  • Is resilient and empathetic: keen to truly understand the needs and concerns of customers and keeps going until you both have achieved a successful outcome, also if this requires you to challenge the customers' assumptions
  • A team player working across internal functions to ensure we deliver on the customer’s expectations
  • With everything you do, you keep your customers in full-focus
  • Enjoys an early stage environment with the ability to shape customer interactions
  • Has a strong enthusiasm for medical technology and ambition for delivering innovative, technical products

Your key responsibilities

  • Drive customer success by integration of the Vitestro device into the customer’s clinical day-to-day use
  • Prepare the customer for delivery: clinical, technical and organizational
  • Support configuration, integration and user-training of the new technology
  • Provides support to customers during the first weeks/months of new product deployment
  • Work hand-in-hand with internal functions to provide customer feedback on improvement opportunities
  • Travel is estimated to be around 70%
  • Build strong relationships with your customers across their entire leadership and staff
  • As times, support pre-sale clinical discussions and exhibitions

What you will bring

  • 3+ years of experience in clinical applications or related roles in the healthcare space
  • Clinical lab and/or phlebotomy experience
  • Excellent communication, teaching and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with (use of) capital or medical equipment
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in related fields: Healthcare or business
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
